Mr Brock offers day case hip replacement.

This is available to patients who (i) are generally fit and healthy, (ii) are motivated to be discharged on the same day following surgery, (iii) have somebody at home on the first night after surgery.

This is increasing in popularity with patients who wish to return to the comfort of their own home following surgery.

Mr Brock performs this at both the Friarage hospital and at Tees Valley hospital. Mr Brock performed the first day case hip replacement in the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation trust in August 2023. The media link is below:
